Before I ever helped someone buy or sell a home, I learned what it meant to work hard for stability, provide for a family, and adapt when life changes your plans.
My journey into becoming a REALTOR® began when I first became a real estate investor. My wife and I started investing in rental properties in 2016. When it came time to sell them, we would hire a REALTOR® to help us. One day, my wife said, “Why don’t you get your license? That way we don’t have to pay the commission.”
It made sense from a business perspective—reducing costs and keeping more of our investment returns. So I went ahead and got my real estate license simply to manage and sell my own properties. What I didn’t expect was how many people would begin reaching out to me for advice. Friends, acquaintances, and members of the community started asking questions about investing and buying homes. I discovered that I truly enjoyed helping them acquire properties and guiding them through the process. It was fun, rewarding, and meaningful. That’s when I realized I wanted to pursue real estate full-time.
Interestingly, real estate wasn’t at all what I had in mind when my parents moved from Trinidad and Tobago to Pennsylvania and brought me along. I was 18 years old, and after adjusting to the culture shock, I decided to attend culinary school. Cooking had always been a passion of mine, and I was excited to pursue it professionally.
During that time, I reconnected with Reynelle, who is also from Trinidad and Tobago. Our parents knew each other, and we had first met at church back in Trinidad. When she moved to New York, we reconnected and began dating.
Family life started quickly for us. We bought our first house in our early twenties and welcomed our two children, Kushur and Keldon. At the time, I was working as a cook at a retirement home and a rehabilitation center. While I truly enjoyed cooking, I eventually faced a difficult reality: the career I had studied for and loved simply wasn’t paying enough to support us. It was a painful realization, but I knew I had to adapt.
That’s when I made the decision to switch industries and move into manufacturing. I ended up working for a battery production company for 19 years. That job provided stability for my family and gave me the opportunity to invest in real estate on the side. Those investments eventually opened the door to the career I’m deeply passionate about today.
Today, my kids are 21 and 12. My oldest, Kushur, is graduating from college soon, which makes me incredibly proud. My youngest is in seventh grade and has endless energy, spending much of the week playing soccer and swimming.
Outside of work, I enjoy giving back to my community. I’m a board member for Wyomissing Recreation Board, where I help organize parades and other events that bring people together. I’m also involved in a food pantry through my church, providing food each month. In my personal time, I’m a proud foodie who loves trying new restaurants, watching movies, and traveling—especially to the Caribbean.
Living in a country where so many opportunities exist motivates me every day. I don’t take that for granted. It inspires me to work hard, give my best effort, and help others create opportunities for themselves through homeownership and real estate.
I bring seven years of experience in real estate, and I approach my work with genuine passion for helping clients. I believe every client deserves respect, honesty, and thoughtful guidance throughout the process. I pay close attention to details so my clients can achieve their goals while avoiding unnecessary mistakes.
Open communication is a priority for me; I respond promptly and make myself available whenever my clients need guidance or reassurance. With strong knowledge of the local market, neighborhoods, and pricing trends, I help clients understand their options and make confident decisions. I also focus on carefully matching each client with homes and areas that truly fit their lifestyle, priorities, and long-term goals so they feel confident and supported every step of the way as we move toward a successful and rewarding outcome together for their future home.
Sincerely,
